COMPENSATION RANGE

Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00

Shift: Monday through Friday 7:30 – 4:00


JOB SUMMARY

Since 1970, Great Floors has grown into a thriving organization with retail, commercial, and builder showrooms positioned across the Pacific Northwest. Great Floors is a subsidiary of Artisan Design Group. The Office Assistant role for our Nampa, ID location is responsible for performing all office functions associated with a Great Floors store facility.  This position provides administrative and secretarial support by managing schedules, maintaining records, coordinating office activities, and handling correspondence. They help ensure efficient office operations while interacting with customers, vendors, and employees, exercising independent judgment to prioritize tasks and support special projects.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prioritize and manage high volumes of information, correspondence, and telephone communications to ensure efficient department operations.
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and correspond in a timely manner.
  • Respond to routine and non-routine inquiries, take accurate messages, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments, acting as liaison to support business objectives.
  • Work independently and within a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projects.
Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS  

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of administrative experience.
  • Strong administrative skills, including typing, data entry, and operation of standard office equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with customers and staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree.
  • Two years of related administrative or office support.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Stationary Position: Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for up to 90% of the workday.
  • Mobility: Frequently required to move throughout the office, warehouse, or job site to access materials, equipment, or files.
  • Lifting/Carrying: Frequently lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequently operates a computer and other office or production equipment.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and exchange accurate information with customers and team members, including in busy or noisy environments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.

  • Office/Design Center: Professional, climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels (e.g., computers, printers, and light foot traffic).
  • Travel: No travel required for this role.
