Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations for Line 1, Station 1 to ensure safety, quality, production, and on-time delivery goals are achieved.
- Provide direction, training, coaching, and support to team members while promoting accountability and teamwork.
- Monitor workflow, assign work, and communicate production priorities with supervisors, engineering, and quality.
- Evaluate team performance, address quality or performance issues, and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure all work is completed according to engineering drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company quality standards.
- Perform hands-on installation of marine electrical (AC/DC), plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, engines, running gear, electronics, and related components.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and stationary equipment used in boat assembly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while ensuring compliance with all company safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous boat manufacturing or related manufacturing experience preferred.
- Leadership or team lead experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Working knowledge of marine electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and boat assembly processes preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
