The Sr. Clinical Applications Specialist oversees the management, support, and optimization of enterprise
electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance clinical and operational performance. Partners across
clinical, administrative, IT, and vendor teams to implement system improvements that align with organizational
goals, ensuring efficient workflows, accurate system functionality, and effective user adoption.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/COMPETENCIES

- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with patient care objectives.
- Manage data systems to ensure accuracy, integrity, and timely availability of information.
- Maintain and update EHR databases in accordance with organizational standards and local requirements.
- Support user training, education, and system optimization both remotely and on-site as needed.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and escalate as appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist with EHR design updates and process improvement initiatives.
- Deliver effective training programs to promote user proficiency and system adoption.
- Provide training to individuals and groups, including clinical staff, providers, and administrative teams.
- Coordinate training resources and materials to support user learning and readiness.
- Performs other position related duties as assigned.

- Familiarity with healthcare environments, including EHR implementation, clinical decision support
- systems, requirements gathering, and health IT standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Working knowledge of Veradigm EHR, including system build, support, and administrative and clinical customization modules.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience providing on-site support for EHR/EMR implementations, user training, and system optimization or related functions.
