Welder - Command Light
Description

Command Light has helped emergency departments elevate their scene lighting for decades with an assortment of patented light towers and traffic advisors that help roadway responders illuminate nighttime scenes, keeping both the crew and our community safe.


We are looking for an energetic, self-starting, Experienced Welder/Fabricator for our Command Light Division. If you are interested in building equipment that helps save lives, please apply.


Responsibilities:

  • Mig and tig welding
  • Welding aluminum, alloy and stainless steel
  • Spot welding
  • Knowledge of use with basic shop tools
  • Machine set-up
  • Working knowledge of fabrication process and welding procedures
  • Time management
  • Other duties as assigned 
Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • Mig and tig welding skills
  • General mechanical knowledge
  • Working knowledge of fabrication process
  • Ability to use and read tape measure
  • Good organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to follow instructions explicitly
  • Able to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
  • Must be able to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, high energy, busy atmosphere
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and twist
  • A welding evaluation will be given if a candidate is chosen for an interview
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test and criminal background check.

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday

Compensation: $19 - $21/Hour DOE

Job Type: Full-time: Non-Exempt
