Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and assess the health status of mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages

- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort

- Assist with labor management, including fetal monitoring, pain management, and delivery procedures

- Educate patients and their families on childbirth processes, postpartum care, and newborn care

- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely

- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide critical care as needed during labor and delivery


Skills and Qualifications:

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

- Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

- Prior experience in labor and delivery, obstetrics, or maternal health preferred

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Requirements

 Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

 Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

 Prior experience in labor and delivery, obstetrics, or maternal health preferred

 Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and as part of a multidisciplinary team

 Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

 Minimum two years’ experience in labor and delivery.
