What You’ll Actually Be Doing

This role goes beyond standard draws - you’re a key part of how patient care moves through our system.

  • Perform blood draws and specimen collections with accuracy and confidence
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during every interaction
  • Use our LIS system (Genuin) for patient entry, orders, and documentation
  • Prepare and manage collection kits and supplies
  • Ensure proper labeling, handling, and chain of custody for all specimens
  • Support specimen transport (courier responsibilities as needed).
  • Communicate with providers and internal teams to keep things moving

What Your Day Looks Like

  • Full time schedule - must have Saturday availability!
  • Patient-facing collections throughout the day
  • Real-time documentation and coordination
  • A mix of routine + problem-solving (because healthcare is never static)

Requirements
  • 1+ year of phlebotomy experience (required)
  • Experience with direct patient care
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn systems (LIS/EMR)
  • Reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Professional communication skills

Bonus Points If You Have 

  • Phlebotomy certification, CNA, or MA
  • Experience in specimen processing or lab environments
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
