Job Summary:

  

The High School Administrative Liaison & Registrar is a key representative of Valley Christian School who supports the High School Principal and leadership team through the coordination of administrative, registrar, and front office operations. This position manages student records, transcripts, enrollment documentation, graduation processes, and other essential school functions while coordinating with front office staff and ensuring exceptional service to students, families, faculty, and visitors.


The High School Administrative Liaison & Registrar plays a vital role in the successful planning and execution of school events, communications, and administrative initiatives, including orientations, awards, and Baccalaureate, while supporting the school's vision and mission. Above all, this role is viewed not simply as a profession, but as a ministry opportunity to share the Gospel and faithfully serve those God has entrusted to the Valley Christian School community.  


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist/support the HS Principal & Vice Principal in whatever ways are needed
  • Maintain Notary Bond and serve our constituents
  • Maintain Boardroom and Student Union usage calendar
  • Communicate with faculty/staff and constituents with clarity and kindness
  • Manage all ordering of supplies/budgets and work orders for office machines and maintain their function
  • Manage and submit quarterly report cards in RenWeb to high school parents
  • Serve as back-up to the high school Receptionist
  • Verify grades 4 times per year, post to transcript and archive
  • Maintain Sports/Activity rosters in RenWeb
  • Plan, schedule, set up and communication regarding Parent Teacher Conferences
  • Prepare all student withdrawal packets
  • Schedule/maintain staff/faculty CPR/First Aid records. Maintain student immunization, medical screening and data input. Assist with information and filing of state report
  • Adhere to Valley Christian policies, procedures/processes, and codes
  • Perform other related assigned duties
Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is a consistent testimony to others

  • Faithfully attends and financially supports a local church whose beliefs are in agreement with our school
  • Must have and maintain a valid level one IVP fingerprint card
  • Must have exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Must be proficient in RenWeb and Parchment
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Must be able to multi-task with organization
  • Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement and to react with discretion under varying conditions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and appropriate relationships with outside vendors and businesses 
  • Must be willing to continually grow and embrace challenges with a growth mindset

Education and Experience:

  • Must have 5 years of related experience
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in office management or its equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Use a computer (visual and keyboarding) for long periods of time
  • Able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) 50% of the time 
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds 
  • At times requires stooping, bending, turning, pushing, pulling, reaching and climbing stairs (2-story) 
  • Use of hands, fingers, arms to reach, grip and maneuver objects
  • Must be able to respond quickly to sounds (fire/security alarms)
  • Work in noisy and crowded school environment 
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings when needed
  • Frequent walking throughout the campus
  • Must be able to travel in state between campuses, to vendors, and to related events

Salary Description
$47,500 - $53,500 DOE
