Description
• Support job function of deputy QC Manager for other applicable tasks
• Adhere to and follow all GMPs and SOPs
• Operate QC lab equipment including but not limited to water activity meter, Ro Tap, microscope, HPLC
• Analyze and effectively communicate data
• Develop AI commands for efficiency
• Release RI and RP in a timely manner when they are qualified for release
• Assist in certification upkeep (Organic, GFCO, Kosher, etc.)
• Assist in pulling raw ingredient (RI) and raw packaging (RP) samples using GMPs when demand is high
• Digitize paper batch records
• Perform periodic GMP checks on the production floor
• Assist in preoperational checks and procedures during busy seasons
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Currently in University majoring in a STEM field
- Lab knowledge and experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Spanish (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency with Microsoft, AI, and basic computer systems Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong Problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn new skills and grow
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.
- Constantly moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces. Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
