The Supply Chain Analyst provides the data and insight that power Corvant's purchasing decisions — analyzing material demand, supplier performance, and inventory trends to help the purchasing team plan ahead and control cost. This role partners closely with Purchasing, Operations, and Finance to turn purchasing data into clear, actionable reporting.
Demand & Inventory Analysis
• Analyze historical purchasing and project data to forecast material demand across the project pipeline
• Monitor inventory levels and turns across branch locations, identifying excess or shortage risk
• Track lead times for critical materials and flag potential supply risk to mission-critical projects
Supplier Performance & Reporting
• Build and maintain supplier performance scorecards covering quality, delivery, and pricing
• Develop and maintain purchasing dashboards and recurring reports for leadership
• Identify and quantify cost-savings and cost-avoidance opportunities through data analysis
Planning & Process Support
• Support sales and operations planning (S&OP) with data-driven demand and supply insight
• Analyze market and commodity pricing trends to inform sourcing strategy
• Recommend process improvements to purchasing workflows based on data findings
Cross-Functional Partnership
• Partner with Purchasing, Operations, and Finance to align supply planning with project schedules and budgets
• Support the Purchasing Director with ad hoc analysis for strategic decision-making
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2-4 years of analyst experience, preferably in supply chain, procurement, or the construction/mechanical services industry
• Strong Excel skills required; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools preferred
• Experience working with ERP or procurement system data
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance of our Atlanta, GA, or Dallas–Fort Worth, TX office.
