Strategic Security Services TX LLC is seeking a professional Level III Commissioned Security Officer to patrol a residential community in a company patrol vehicle. This is a straightforward and low-stress HOA patrol assignment focused on visibility, community presence, and accurate activity documentation.
The officer will conduct routine patrols throughout the neighborhood, monitor common areas and amenities, assist with enforcing HOA rules when applicable, secure community facilities, and complete detailed activity reports. The community pool closes at 8:00 PM, and officers will ensure the area is secured and document all patrol activities during the shift.
This position works 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (3:00 PM–11:00 PM / 1500–2300) for a total of 40 hours per week. Officers will operate a company patrol vehicle during the shift, which is picked up within the community assignment.
Ideal candidates are dependable, professional, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Must possess a valid Texas Level III Commissioned Security Officer License
- Must have a clean driving record for the past five (5) years
- Must maintain a valid Texas Driver License
- Must be eligible to operate a company patrol vehicle
- Must provide and wear required duty gear, including:
- Duty belt
- Firearm and approved duty holster
- Handcuffs
- Flashlight
- Radio earpiece (if assigned)
- At least one (1) less-lethal option
- Officers carrying a TASER must provide proof of current TASER certification prior to being authorized to carry the device in accordance with company policy
- Company will provide the uniform shirt
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to accurately complete daily activity logs and incident reports
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Must successfully complete all company hiring requirements

Duties
Conduct routine patrols of a residential HOA community using a company patrol vehicle
Monitor common areas, amenities, and community facilities
Secure the pool area after its 8:00 PM closing time
Observe and report suspicious, unusual, or safety-related activity
Maintain a visible security presence throughout the community
Complete accurate activity logs and incident documentation
Provide professional customer service when interacting with residents and guests
