POSITION OVERVIEW
Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for Trinity Electrical Services to build market presence, establish upstream relationships, and develop a measurable pipeline of specialized electrical infrastructure opportunities throughout Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama.
This remote, field-driven position requires a high-energy business development professional who is comfortable spending significant time meeting customers, gathering market intelligence, attending industry events, and building relationships with owners, operators, engineering firms, prime contractors, general contractors, municipalities, transportation agencies, airport authorities, port authorities, and other infrastructure stakeholders.
The Business Development Manager will identify projects before formal procurement begins, establish trust with decision-makers and influencers, organize fragmented market activity, and convert early-stage relationships into qualified opportunities. This is not a passive relationship-management position. Success requires initiative, discipline, persistence, accurate CRM management, consistent follow-through, and the ability to create a market where the company may not yet have established relationships.
• Develop Trinity Electrical Services' market presence throughout Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama.
• Establish relationships with infrastructure owners, operators, engineers, municipalities, prime contractors, general contractors, and public-sector agencies.
• Build credibility with senior decision-makers, project stakeholders, and procurement influencers.
• Identify infrastructure projects and capital programs before formal bids, RFQs, or RFPs are released.
• Position the company as a known and trusted resource before procurement begins.
• Generate new leads and convert them into qualified leads and actionable opportunities.
• Maintain visibility into upcoming capital projects, public bids, infrastructure programs, and market expansion opportunities.
• Attend customer meetings, industry events, pre-bid meetings, conferences, site visits, and market-development activities.
• Gather and organize market intelligence regarding customers, competitors, funding, capital plans, procurement schedules, and project timing.
• Identify customer pain points and translate them into practical business opportunities.
• Develop territory strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
• Build a visible, measurable, and repeatable business-development pipeline.
• Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, qualified leads, opportunities, contacts, activities, forecasts, and follow-up commitments.
• Use CRM data to provide clear visibility into market activity and opportunity progression.
• Maintain disciplined follow-up with prospects, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide leadership with regular updates regarding relationships, market intelligence, project timing, pipeline movement, and revenue potential.
• Coordinate closely with estimating, operations, project management, and executive leadership.
• Communicate project intelligence early enough to support bid strategy, staffing, pricing, and operational planning.
• Support expansion into new geographic areas, customer segments, and specialized electrical infrastructure markets.
• Represent Trinity Electrical Services professionally with technical, commercial, and public-sector audiences.
• Contribute directly to pipeline growth, opportunity conversion, market expansion, and revenue development.
COMPENSATION
• $100,000-$150,000 annual base salary
• Performance-based bonus or incentive compensation
• Incentives tied to pipeline development, qualified opportunities, market activity, and revenue growth
• Vehicle allowance or company vehicle, as applicable
