Description

Labconco Corporation, a trusted manufacturer of premium laboratory equipment with over 100 years of excellence, is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse operations. This role is responsible for receiving, picking, packing, and internal distribution of materials while serving as a key liaison between warehouse operations and other departmental material handlers to ensure uninterrupted production and shipping flow.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify, and accurately document incoming materials and products
  • Pick, stage, and pack materials for internal use, intercompany transfers, and outbound shipments
  • Coordinate closely with material handlers in manufacturing and other departments to ensure timely availability of required parts and products
  • Operate sit-down forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate inventory movement through ERP and basic computer systems
  • Prepare materials for packaging, crating, or distribution per established procedures
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and staging areas
  • Perform general housekeeping and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous material handling or warehouse experience
  • Sit-down forklift experience required
  • Ability to lift up to approximately 50 lbs
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and teamwork mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production-support warehouse environment
  • Familiarity with inventory control or ERP systems
  • Prior experience supporting cross-functional production teams
