Description

The Valley Manager is a supervisory position that includes management duties and responsibilities. This role oversees the daily operation of all Valley amenities, including the racquet hub (indoor and outdoor tennis, pickleball, and padel courts), pool, hot tubs, seasonal snow tubing, and the overall member experience.


The Valley Manager is responsible for managing all Valley team members and communicating with partner departments to ensure exceptional service, operational excellence, safety, and a seamless member experience. The position interacts regularly with members, guests, vendors, instructors, and other departments.

Requirements
  • Supervisory experience, preferably in a service-related field 
  • Passion for hospitality, recreation, wellness, and member service.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience, preferably in hospitality,      recreation, club, resort, or service-related operations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team development skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple operations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Manages the day-to-day operation of The Valley to achieve the optimum profit and ensure the highest quality of service      possible. 
  • Manages daily operations of the racquet facilities, aquatic amenities, wellness areas, seasonal snow tubing, and other Valley      programming.
  • Work closely with Food & Beverage leadership to ensure seamless service and high-quality offerings throughout The Valley.
  • Ensure prompt, efficient, and courteous service is consistently delivered throughout all Valley operations.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable health, safety, and operational regulations, including Department of Health requirements where applicable.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, onboarding, coaching, training, and performance management of Valley team members.
  • Coordinate with Concierge, Facilities, Housekeeping, Security, Ski Operations, Racquet Professionals, Aquatics, and other departments to support daily operations and special events.
  • Collaborate with Concierge and Club Operations teams to ensure member requests, needs, and concerns are addressed promptly and seamlessly.
  • Monitor operational supplies, equipment, and inventory, coordinating with vendors as needed.
  • Ensure proper cash handling and financial transaction procedures are followed within Valley operations.
  • Assist with planning and executing member events, programming, tournaments, wellness activities, and seasonal experiences.
  • Maintain a safe environment for members, guests, and employees by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Ensure The Valley is Department of Health compliant at all times.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to traverse all parts of The Valley, including indoor and outdoor facilities.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during all seasons.
  • Must be able to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds. 

Work Schedule and Conditions: We are in the business of providing a premier product and experience for our guests. Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holiday periods which you will be expected to work.  You can also expect to be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holiday periods.  

Salary Description
$75,000 - $95,000 annually
