Pay Range: $71,000 – $84,000 / year

Your Impact

As Pastry Sous Chef, you will lead our central commissary bakery—the heart of production, supplying our Café & OBO brand restaurants. You will drive quality and efficiency while inspiring an energetic, collaborative team. 

  • Craft & Scale: Oversee the daily preparation, scaling, baking, and execution of our artisanal breads, cupcakes, cookies, cakes, jars, and bars to strict company standards. 
  • Lead & Inspire: Mentor and train hourly team members, creating an inclusive, positive, and growth-focused kitchen environment. 
  • Operational Excellence: Manage daily inventory, ensure tight recipe adherence, and maintain rigorous quality control across all production lines.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience:  3+ years of proven leadership experience managing people, inventory,      training, and recipe adherence with strict quality control in a high-volume production-style bakery. 
  • Certifications: We will help you obtain a Valid California Food Handler Card or ServSafe Manager Certification. 
  • Leadership Mindset: A positive, organized, attentive approach to mentorship and problem-solving. 
  • Flexibility:  Willingness to work varied shifts (mornings, afternoons, or evenings) as business dictates. 

Must be 18+ with reliable transportation.
