Revenue Cycle Management Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The RCM Manager is responsible for optimizing financial operations by leveraging complex billing and claims data to develop actionable strategies that improve revenue cycle performance. This role designs and maintains KPI dashboards, performs deep-dive analytics on revenue cycle trends, and partners closely with Finance, business units, and SperoMD leadership to identify root causes of revenue loss and drive measurable improvements in collections, pricing accuracy, and resource allocation.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Revenue Cycle Analytics & KPI Development

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards to monitor and improve RCM KPIs
  • Understand and develop KPIs such as days in A/R, denial rates, net collections, and other core revenue cycle metrics
  • Perform deep-dive analysis on agings, bad debts, reimbursement trends, and contract compliance
  • Identify root causes of revenue loss and develop recommendations to increase revenue recognition
  • Incorporate trends and findings into financial forecasting and modeling

Cross-Functional Partnership & Financial Management

  • Partner with strategic business units to improve and streamline processes that increase collections
  • Support Finance with financial modeling and deep-dive analytics
  • Responsible for financial modeling and deep dive analytics in relation to revenue recognition and profitability
  • Partner and collaborate with SperoMD management team to review findings and trends to improve operational efficiencies and increase margins
  • Responsible for developing pricing strategies for new client proposals by evaluating payer mix, claim volumes, and historical data to improve pricing accuracy and profitability

Operational Optimization & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain staffing models and cost-to-collect metrics to optimize resource allocation
  • Manage ad hoc revenue cycle analytics requests for SperoMD by developing reports and performing data analysis that provide leadership with actionable insight
  • Support the leadership team with monthly client KPI reporting, including running and validating reports, analyzing revenue cycle performance and operational trends, and creating client-facing presentations when appropriate

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, healthcare finance, or medical billing/claims analytics
  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing, claims processes, payer mix, and reimbursement methodologies
  • Proficiency in building dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau); working knowledge of SQL or similar data querying tools preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with financial modeling and forecasting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering findings to leadership and/or client-facing audiences
  • Experience developing staffing models or cost-to-collect analyses a plus

  •  Drive to other PediaTrust offices required less than 5% of time.
