Description
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Site Director by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The overall goal of the Administrative Assistant is to ensure that the day-to-day office operations are organized and efficient.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages as needed
- Act as a timekeeper and liaison with HR as needed
- Employee engagement events as needed – such as birthday cards, sending flowers, and company site events
- Organizing lunches for meetings and town halls
- Opening & distributing mail
- Manage company P.O. Box
- Coordinate FedEx send-offs
- Forward invoices to the correct department
- Assist employees with expense reports for mileage, boots, and other extraneous expenses
- Ensure that the lease is paid, and the postage meter is full.
- Lead on Charitable actions, such as Project Graduation.
- Support S&OP with additional administrative tasks.
- Remian a strong liaison within the community.
- Additional tasks as needed by leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Highschool Diploma or Generalized Education Degree (GED)
- 1-3+ years of office experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Problem solving
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Team player
- Time management
Plant or manufacturing experience preferred.
