VP seeks to fill the role of Production Utility Warehouse Worker. This is a Monday thru Thursday, 10 hour day schedule. Please see details below:

POSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Fill in for Production/Assembly line, other departmental shortages or special projects as needed or directed. 
• Cross-training in various departments, machinery and processes is necessary. 
• Relieve Production/Assembly employees as scheduled for lunch and break periods. 
• Ensure the Production/Assembly line is fully stocked with all necessary components, parts and supplies at all times. 
• Ensure pallets of product are shrink-wrapped and prepared for shipping, move pallets with forklift to designated holding area. 
• Organize warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times. 
• Wear all proper safety equipment where required. 
• Will be required to perform other warehouse duties as requested, directed or assigned. 

 REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:  

• Ability to maintain safe work environment. 
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.   
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. 

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:  

• Adaptable to changing work conditions and the ability to multi-task at high levels with attention to detail.  

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:  

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• NONE 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  

• Requires heavy lifting. 
• Requires standing for 8-10 hours per day. 
• Requires bending/stooping/kneeling for 4-6 hours per day. 
• Requires lifting and carrying objects that weigh between 10 - 50 lbs. from 2-4 hours per day. 
• Mounting/Dismounting forklift. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  

• Work is performed in an outside warehouse environment. 
• Exposure to elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils and weather conditions.
