Description


The Warehouse Receiving Specialist is responsible for the safe, accurate, and compliant receipt of all incoming materials. This role ensures that incoming trucks, materials, and documentation meet Multi-Pak's quality, safety, and GMP standards. The Receiving Specialist works closely with Quality Control (QC) Receiving to ensure proper inspection, organization, and release of materials prior to storage.


  

Responsibilities 


Essential Functions:


• Unload all incoming trucks in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety and warehouse procedures.

• Document the cleanliness and condition of each incoming truck in the designated logbook prior to unloading.

• Review and inspect incoming shipping documents (e.g., BOLs, packing slips, COAs, and related paperwork) for accuracy and completeness.

• Inspect incoming pallets to confirm proper condition, including verification that pallets are heat-treated and compliant with requirements.

• Ensure all receiving activities are performed in accordance with Multi-Pak receiving, warehouse, safety, and GMP SOPs.

• Immediately collaborate with QC Receiving if incoming materials, pallets, or trucks do not meet Multi-Pak's quality or compliance standards.

• Stage and organize incoming pallets in designated receiving/quarantine areas to allow QC to efficiently inspect materials.

• Move materials to appropriate storage locations only after QC release and approval.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready receiving and warehouse area at all times.

• Accurately complete all required logs, forms, and documentation related to receiving activities.


  

Nonessential functions/demands: 


• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

• Support audits, inspections, and inventory activities as needed.


  

Requirements

 

Qualification Requirements: 


• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred; GMP or regulated manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

• Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices and material handling.

• Ability to read and understand SOPs, shipping documents, and logs.

• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

• Experience using and safely handling a manual pallet jack.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Completes handwritten logs, forms, and labels with clear and legible handwriting.

• Manager: Warehouse Supervisor

• Managerial Responsibility: None


Physical/Mental Demands: 


• Ability to frequently lift up to forty-five pounds and occasionally lift up to seventy-five pounds.

• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 90% of the work shift.

• Ability to work safely in narrow aisles or passageways while moving throughout the warehouse.

• Ability to occasionally kneel, climb, bend, and reach to perform required job duties.

Salary Description
$24/hr
