Position Summary:
The Lead, RCM System Analyst is the subject matter expert and is responsible for assisting the RCM Manager with
oversight of the team. This individual will provide feedback, training, and guidance to ensure RCM staff is following
department protocol with RCM processes. The Lead, RCM System Analyst will handle escalated tickets or more
complex projects. Works closely with RCM manager and RCM leadership to develop RCM process improvements.
Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
- Mentors, guides and provides oversight assistance of the team.
- Applies subject expertise to identify areas of process improvement opportunities in the Bright Tree system and revenue cycle management process.
- Identifies areas where technical solutions would improve business performance.
- Consults across teams, providing mentorship, and contributes specialized knowledge.
- Works collaboratively with the RCM leadership and system specialists to maximize productivity.
- Collaborates with project teams, contributing to the entire project lifecycle.
- Organizes and monitors schedules to ensure deadlines are met. Coordinate efforts within the team and with outside consultants efficiently.
- Monitors and oversees system projects progress toward achieving goals and objectives and document key decisions.
- Assesses RCM processes and team to identify and develop action plan for areas as needed.
- Analyzes processes targeted by senior management and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinates and supports process improvements and enhancement requests.
- Analyzes large amounts of data to identify trends, develops reports and communicates results to leadership.
- Maintains and monitors project plans. Documents and follows-up on actions and decisions.
- Prepares project materials as needed and provides administrative support as needed.
- Develops strategies to ensure an effective and efficient execution of projects.
- Adheres to frameworks and maintains documentation appropriately.
- Trains and develops team members to ensure AdaptHealth policy and protocol is being followed.
- Assesses project risks and issues and provides solutions where applicable.
- Assumes responsibility for independent completion of tasks and small projects.
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company.
- Maintains patient confidentiality and functions within the guidelines of HIPAA.
- Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required.
- Maintains compliant with AdaptHealth’s Compliance Program.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; Associated degree preferred
- Three (3) years’ work related in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center or management regardless of industry required
- Two (2) years HME claims experience is preferred
- Exact job experience is considered any of the essential functions if system development in a Medicare certified HME environment that routinely bills insurance
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Work environment may be stressful at times, as overall office activities and work levels fluctuate
- Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
- Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen
- Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and/or fingers due to extensive computer use
- Mental ability to covey knowledge and mentor others
- Mental ability to analyze information, problem solve and identify areas of opportunity
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds as needed
- Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- May be exposed to angry or irate customers or patients
Compensation based on experience and geolocation: $59,000-64,000 a year
