Hartung Glass Tukwila is currently seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to embody safety, efficiency, and quality at our Tukwila, Washington Location.   

  Knowledge of principles and methods for moving non-hazardous materials

• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state and national laws
• Knowledge of laws, EPA regulations, DOT regulations, and OSHA regulations, or other related transportation endorsements
• Experience in shipping and/or transportation industry 
• High school diploma required
• Relevant degree preferred
• Commitment to courteous customer service
• Must have demonstrated Microsoft office computer skills
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.   

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Reporting of vehicle repairs and registrations
• Ensure drivers follow all protocols including pre trip inspections
• Analyze loading, routing, and delivery methods
• Safety management and Accident reporting
• Work with local management and corporate leadership to ensure proper files and      compliance
• Ensure ELD compliance and route efficiency
• Assist in identification and implementation of continuous improvement and      customer satisfaction opportunities
• Coordinate services with local trucking vendors
