Marketing Manager
San Antonio, TX Admin
Job Type
Full-time
Description

Our portfolio represents the vibrant history and diverse culture of San Antonio hospitality. From Casa Rio (the oldest restaurant on the iconic River Walk) and Schilo’s (the oldest historic restaurant in the city) to Cool Crest (a historic, family-friendly mini-golf, food truck, and live music Biergarten) and Broadway News (a trendy micro-business and retail community hub), we bridge deep local tradition with dynamic, modern experiences. We are seeking a creative, strategic, and hands-on Marketing professional to champion our brands, engage our communities, and drive growth across all our unique concepts.

As the Marketing Manager/Director, you will own the marketing strategy, content execution, and digital footprint for our multi-unit hospitality and entertainment group. Reporting directly to ownership and working closely with the management teams of all locations, you will move beyond simple coordination to actively shape how thousands of weekly guests interact with our brands. This is a high-impact, boots-on-the-ground role requiring a blend of strategic planning, content production, graphic design, and local community engagement.

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities

  • Brand & Campaign Strategy: Develop, implement, and track comprehensive marketing strategies and promotional campaigns for seasonal menus, large events, food truck features, and venue milestones.
  • On-Site Content Creation: Regularly visit all properties to capture high-quality, authentic photography and videography optimized for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging channels.
  • Graphic & Collateral Design: Own the creation and execution of in-house marketing assets, including menus, table tents, retail merchandise graphics, signage, and digital advertisements.
  • Website & Digital Presence Management: Maintain and update all brand websites (pricing, operational hours, menus, private event details) and manage accuracy across third-party platforms (Google Business Profile, Yelp, TripAdvisor).
  • Community & Reputation Management: Actively monitor and engage with our online audience, responding professionally and strategically to direct messages, comments, and online reviews.
  • Event & Multi-Unit Support: Coordinate with General Managers to cross-promote public and private events, live music lineups, and pop-up markets.
  • Performance & Analytics: Utilize digital analytics tools to track campaign performance, monitor guest engagement metrics, and regularly report insights and ROI to the executive team.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in marketing, social media management, or content creation, preferably within the hospitality, restaurant, or entertainment industries. Multi-unit brand experience is a major plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent proven professional experience).
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on skills with graphic design platforms (such as Adobe Creative Suite or advanced Canva) and website content management systems (such as Squarespace).
  • Media Skills: Proven capability in capturing and editing high-quality mobile photo and video content suitable for professional brand placement.
  • Communication: Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to swiftly pivot the "brand voice" between a historic deli, a lively outdoor Biergarten, and a modern retail market.
  • Logistics: Must have reliable transportation and the flexibility to be physically present on-site across locations during key operations, peak hours, and special events.
  • Success: Success in this role will be measured through growth in guest engagement, social media reach, private event inquiries, website traffic, online reputation scores, and revenue generated from marketing initiatives.

What We Offer

  •  Competitive annual salary commensurate with experience.
  •  Comprehensive benefits package (Health, Dental, and Vision insurance options).
  •  Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday pay.
  •  Dining, merchandise, and entertainment discounts across all portfolio properties.
  •  A collaborative executive team and the creative freedom to genuinely shape the identity of historic local landmarks.
