What You'll Do
As our HR Assistant, you'll partner with leaders across the organization to support employees throughout the entire employment lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering bi-weekly payroll through Paylocity and ensuring payroll accuracy
- Managing employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), open enrollment, and employee education
- Recruiting and onboarding employees across multiple departments and locations
- Maintaining HRIS data integrity and employee records
- Administering leave programs, including FMLA and other protected leaves
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Supporting HR audits, reporting, and compliance initiatives
- Helping foster employee engagement through company events and employee-led programs
- Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and support organizational growth

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of Human Resources experience
- 1-3 years of payroll administration experience
- Experience administering employee benefits and leave programs
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity experience is a plus)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
- Ability to access all areas of the facility as needed
Salary Description
$40,000 - $45,000
