Class A Driver
Description


The Dem-Con Trucking truck driver position is responsible for driving trucks or tractor-trailers for collection services to ensure our customers’ expectations are met in transporting or disposing various materials to the appropriate location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Operates heavy duty commercial trucks and tractor-trailers 
  2. Performs required pre-trip & post trip inspections and provides required reports 
  3. Provides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
  4. Maintains all required certifications required by DOT
  5. Adheres to all OSHA and company safety programs 
  6. Maintains and protects all property  
  7. Informs on-duty mechanic of any maintenance issues with equipment and/or vehicles 
  8. Maintains various records and/or logs as needed per DOT regulations
  9. Fuels truck at the end of each workday 
  10. Operates front end loader/ skid steer on as needed basis
  11. Aids in keeping Customer location and/or facility clean by picking up litter around site 
  12. Communicates effectively with management, dispatch and all division employees
  13. Performs other related duties as assigned


Requirements
  • Have a valid Minnesota CDL Class A 
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and maintain a valid health card and license
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds 
  • Driver must be 21 years old per DOT.
