TriVector Services, Inc., is seeking qualified candidates to fill our Machinery Maintenance Mechanic position.
This Machinery Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical components for CNC Machines, Mills, Lathes etc within a large machine shop. They will install, repair, rebuild, and maintain in efficient operating condition a wide variety of machines. They will work on the repairs and maintenance for the machines in a large machine shop that includes 3 phase electricity and high voltage. The duties of a Machinery Maintenance Mechanic includes but is not limited to:
- Examining machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble
- Dismantling or partly dismantling machines and performing repairs that mainly involve the use of hand tools in scraping and fitting parts
- Reading and interpreting electrical documentation
- Troubleshooting electrical systems and controls
- Preventive and predictive electrical maintenance
- Installing and maintaining electrical equipment
- Communicating specifications for major repairs or parts that are needed
- Cleaning machines, maintaining shop areas, organizing parts and tools, and supporting installation of new equipment from a mechanical standpoint
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must have or have the ability to obtain a Public Trust.
- In general, the work of a Machinery Maintenance Mechanic requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
- Must be able to bend, stoop or lift occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- All positions supporting the METTS III contract are contingent upon successful completion of NASA medical screenings at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter. The need for these screenings is determined based on the outcomes of the Safety, Health, and Environmental Job Assessment Questionnaire.
