Medical Malpractice & Personal Injury Associate Attorney

Description

We are seeking an associate attorney with medical malpractice and personal injury experience to join our busy and collaborative litigation team. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of medical malpractice and personal injury matters from intake through resolution, conducting case investigations, reviewing medical records, consulting with expert witnesses, and developing case strategy. The successful candidate will draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents; manage all phases of discovery, including e-discovery; take and defend depositions; and represent clients at hearings, including medical malpractice tribunals, where they will present evidence to establish a legitimate question of liability, as well as at mediations, arbitrations, trials, and other court proceedings. This role also includes coordinating and supervising outside experts, conducting legal research, analyzing evidence, ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal litigation requirements, and collaborating with a talented litigation team to deliver exceptional client service and results.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with active admission in good standing in MA with a minimum of two years of applicable medical malpractice and personal injury litigation experience required. EEO
