Description

 

We are seeking an HR Generalist (3–5 years of experience) to manage day-to-day HR operations across our corporate office. This role is ideal for someone comfortable wearing multiple hats — from recruiting and onboarding to employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance — in a fast-paced, deadline-driven real estate environment.  Please do not apply if you do not have 3-5 years of HR experience. 


pay: $55,000-$59,000 DOE

Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for corporate and property-level positions (leasing agents, property managers, maintenance staff, administrative roles)
  • Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation, including for employees at multiple property sites
  • Partner with hiring managers to post open position and screen candidates

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues
  • Support the performance management process
  • Help maintain a positive, compliant workplace culture across dispersed property locations

Benefits & Compensation Administration

  • Administer health, retirement, and other benefit programs; assist employees with enrollment and claims questions
  • Support annual open enrollment and benefits renewal processes
  • Assist with payroll coordination and compensation data accuracy

Compliance & Recordkeeping

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and state-specific requirements, which can vary by property location)
  • Maintain accurate employee files, HRIS records, and required workplace postings across multiple sites
  • Support audits and assist with workers' compensation claims, particularly relevant given on-site maintenance and property staff

HR Projects & Policy

  • Assist in developing policies, and procedures
  • Support training initiatives 
  • Contribute to HR process improvements and special projects as needed



Requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of HR generalist experience; commercial real estate, property management, or multi-site experience strongly preferred
  • Expert Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements
  • Experience with Paylocity highly desired
  • Strong  organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
