We’re looking for a Director of Human Resources who sees HR as more than policies and compliance. Strategic Human Resources Leadership

  • Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute a people strategy that supports The Rose's mission,      culture, and long-term goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders on organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and performance      management.

Talent Strategy & Recruitment

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment and hiring to attract exceptional talent.
  • Design an engaging onboarding experience that connects new employees to our mission from day one.
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning and organizational growth.

Culture, Leadership & Employee Experience

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Guide performance evaluations, employee development, and corrective action processes.
  • Develop initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, recognition, and retention.

Benefits & Employee Support

  • Oversee employee benefits administration and annual Open Enrollment.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with benefit providers.
  • Ensure accurate HR data for payroll processing.
  • Support employees in understanding and maximizing their benefits.
  • Conduct exit interviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Oversee unemployment claims, workers' compensation, FMLA, and employment documentation.
  • Maintain and enhance HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead workplace investigations with professionalism, discretion, and fairness.

HR Operations

  • Ensure accurate employee records and HRIS management.
  • Maintain compliance for I-9s, background checks, personnel files, and required reporting.
  • Improve HR systems and processes that enhance efficiency and the employee experience.
  • Generate employment documentation and organizational reports.
Requirements

Requirement/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • A minimum of five years of human resources related experience required
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP desired
