It is the responsibility of the Manufacturing Coordinator to work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure efficient workflow, high productivity, and adherence to company goals and policies. This role acts as a liaison between the production and materials group supervisors, to coordinate the appropriate flow of materials to the production lines in an effort to maximize output while meeting the needs of the customer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow assembly schedule given by Supervisor.
- Coordinate the flow of shortages in production by communicating missing materials to the materials group.
- Coordinate the return of extra material with the materials group team.
- Operate all dispense and outerwrap machines in Z-Media.
- Assist in the training of current employees as well as new hires.
- Facilitate 6S initiatives by collecting feedback, and report to Supervisor and CI leader suggestions from team members as well as ensuring when items are needed that they are ordered.
- Report to the Supervisor and CI leader the need for attention in areas where standards are not met or being maintained.
- Review expedite list and production schedule to provide feedback to the oncoming shift and expeditors.
- Participate as needed in tier meetings to provide updates relative to the expeditor and scheduler.
- Ensure quality standards are being met, and work instructions are followed.
- Utilize company-wide computer system to check on stock, access engineering drawings, check on work order status and other job-related manufacturing transactions as required.
- Regular and timely attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work overtime as required.
Working Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location. Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Experience in assembly work is preferred.
- Experience in fluid power industry and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- ERP experience is preferred, SAP experience is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions finished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Certificates and Licenses:
- Capability to obtain forklift certification to drive a forklift, including RAYMOND upright trucks and Wave machines.
