About the Role:
As an Identity Platform (Entra) Engineer at Cascadia Healthcare, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise identity and access management solutions, with a focus on security, automation, governance, and operational excellence. You’ll work closely with the IT team to deliver secure and scalable identity services that support our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Entra ID and related identity services.
- Manage identity lifecycle processes including user provisioning, access reviews, entitlement management, and role-based access control.
- Implement and support authentication technologies including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and passwordless authentication.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for identity administration and operational tasks (PowerShell required).
- Develop automation solutions using Microsoft Graph and PowerShell.
- Support identity integrations with cloud and third-party applications.
- Monitor and optimize identity security posture, governance controls, and access policies.
- Assist with compliance initiatives and identity-related security controls.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, and security teams on projects, audits, and incident response activities.
- Participate in process improvements and technical troubleshooting.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and device identity management.
- Experience with Active Directory and hybrid identity environments.
- Experience with AWS IAM, Okta, Ping Identity, or similar identity platforms.
- Experience with access reviews, entitlement management, and lifecycle workflows.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications with SSO and automated provisioning technologies.
- Advanced troubleshooting and incident response experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert).
- Experience in healthcare environments.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in identity and access management, directory services, or cloud engineering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Entra ID and PowerShell.
- Experience with Microsoft identity technologies including Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, Identity Governance, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
- Experience developing automation solutions using Microsoft Graph and PowerShell.
Salary Description
$100,000-$120,000 annually
