Come grow as a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR! The Production Supervisor is responsible for a line of molding machines, secondary machinery, and operating personnel. It is a hands-on position to demonstrate leadership and production expertise.
We are looking for a detail oriented, organized, safety focused, team player.
Pay
Starting from $26.12/hr
Your Schedule
3rd Shift: Monday Through Friday 10 PM to 6:30 AM, $2.50 an hour shift differential
Your Responsibilities
- Serve as person in charge in the event of a facility alarm, safety incident, personnel conflict, or other incident requiring leadership to resolve during the shift
- Oversee the production and inspection required in each machine to meet the production schedule
- Oversee and cover production line with breaks and lunch so all machines stay operational by maintaining a set schedule for breaks and lunches
- Adjust accordingly to changing situations and shift changes
- Troubleshoot molding issues and adjust accordingly
- Review and complete daily reports and all paperwork
- Partner with the quality, and maintenance departments to ensure problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials are resolved correctly in a timely manner
- Perform colorant and foil changes according to scheduled runs
- Compliance with ISO 9001 standard and 5S Visual Workplace/Lean Manufacturing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
- Other duties as assigned by the Plant Director or Production Manager
- Operate forklift as needed
- Be accountable for decisions that impact production during shift

What We Would Love About You:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent.
· 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Experience in an extrusion environment or plastics processing industry a plus.
· Excellent mechanical/machine set-up, repair, and trouble-shooting knowledge.
· Experience in an environment that promotes safety.
· Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
· Computer skills including Microsoft products.
· Forklift experience or willingness to be forklift certified.
· Effective communication skills.
· Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
