Description

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for our organization and our clients. You will also assist the HR Department and our clients in routine HR functions including managing Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), writing company policies and procedures, and overseeing system compliance, confidentiality, and HR records.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $75,000.00
  • This position may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses and/or equity incentives, subject to company policy.
    The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Occasional after hours and weekends possible


What you will do:

Core Responsibilities

  • High-Volume Pipeline Management
  • Strategically manages high-volume candidate flow to ensure all seats are filled with the right talent for daily business operations.
  • Metrics-Driven Sourcing & Compliance
  • Optimizes recruitment spend and processes based on performance data while ensuring legal compliance.
  • Recruitment Process Support
  • Provides training and education on the recruitment process for the hiring managers.
  • Administrative Support
  • Assist with employee files, record keeping, and personnel changes.

  • Collaborates with HR Leadership on the development of all phases of a high-volume recruitment process with a focus on efficiency, speed, and a strong candidate experience.
  • Implements and maintains the recruitment process, with the mindset on continuous improvement.
  • Collaborates with department managers & HR leadership to understand hiring needs and target metrics for filling the vacancy.
  • Identifies and implements technology-based recruiting methods to maximize candidate flow and specialty role sourcing.
  • Manages job postings and advertisements, optimizing for volume and performance data.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify, track, and maintain relationships with pools of qualified candidates for future assignments and deployments.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace or related software.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting for various roles, managing all phases of the process with an integrated ATS.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe
  • Able to communicate efficiently via email and online meetings.
  • Able to learn multiple software programs.
  • HRIS experience, Paylocity preferred. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience recruiting for a variety of roles; healthcare or emergency services recruiting a plus
  • 3+ years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Experience in process automation and data analysis.
