As a Production Scheduler, you will coordinate what products are made and when. You will work with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Distribution to balance demand, inventory, materials, and production capacity.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing information, planning ahead, solving problems, and managing changing priorities.
What You'll Do:
- Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules
- Balance customer demand, inventory, materials, and production capacity
- Coordinate plans with Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, and Distribution
- Identify scheduling conflicts and adjust plans to reduce disruptions
- Analyze production results, inventory trends, and demand forecasts
- Communicate schedule changes, risks, and priorities
- Improve scheduling processes and manufacturing efficiency
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred
- Experience in production scheduling, planning, manufacturing, or supply chain operations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems; AS400 experience is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

About the Role
This is a full-time, salaried position based in our Indianapolis office. Employees in this role work onsite four days per week and travel to our Van Buren manufacturing facility two to four times per month.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
Required:
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving scheduling issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Experience in production planning or manufacturing scheduling
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and scheduling best practices
- Familiarity with ERP systems or other production planning software
About the Role
This is a full-time, salaried position based at our Indianapolis office. The role requires onsite work 4 of the 5 days per week with occasional travel to our Van Buren, Indiana manufacturing facility 2–4 times per month a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
