Founded in 1988, Moisture Loc provides waterproofing, crawlspace encapsulation, mold remediation, drainage and structural foundation services including foundation repair.  The primary service region is the Charlotte Metropolitan area.  Services are provided for new residential construction as well as existing homes.  Today, Moisture Loc is the largest family-owned residential waterproofing company in the Carolinas.

What You’ll Do

The Crew member is vital to the successful completion of customer projects and must professionally represent Moisture Loc at all times. A typical day will include the following:

  • Traveling ON TIME to the office with a reliable vehicle
  • Traveling ON TIME to scheduled appointments using a company vehicle
  • Completing on-site projects which includes: exterior waterproofing, interior water management systems, yard drainage systems, crawl space encapsulation systems, R19 insulation (can include removal of existing insulation), and excavations manually or with heavy equipment.
Requirements
  • Previous Construction and Home Improvement experience preferred
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening including a background check
  • Clean record and valid driver’s license
  • Able to start work at 7am and work to 5pm Monday to Friday and occasionally Saturday

Nature of Work / Conditions

  • Work is typically performed in basements and crawl spaces but can also include digging and backfilling trenches
  • Work requires constant movement, is strenuous, physical and can include standing, bending, crawling, loading and unloading materials, pushing and pulling equipment.
