Position Summary
The Digital Teller Specialist provides outstanding member service through Ignite Credit Union’s Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) network. This role combines customer service, financial transaction processing, technology support, and relationship-building to create a seamless digital banking experience. The ideal candidate is service-driven, tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping members achieve their financial goals.
What You’ll Do
- Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and account inquiries through ITM systems
- Deliver professional, friendly, and personalized service through video and digital banking channels
- Educate members on digital banking tools, self-service features, and credit union products and services
- Identify member needs and recommend solutions that support financial well-being
- Ensure compliance with credit union policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor ITM equipment performance and assist with troubleshooting technical issues and service disruptions
- Partner with internal teams and vendors to maintain system functionality and service quality
- Support branch and organizational sales goals through consultative conversations and member referrals
- Maintain accurate records and transaction documentation while meeting service and performance standards
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of experience in financial services, teller operations, member service, or a related role preferred
- Credit union experience is a plus
- Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to transaction accuracy and compliance
- Comfort working with technology, video banking systems, and digital platforms
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and learn new systems quickly
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for helping members and delivering exceptional service
