Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis of complex communications and non-communications waveforms, including pulse repetition intervals, pulse duration, and scanning characteristics.
- Collaborate with Navy and Department of Defense Electronic Warfare system engineers to document, interpret, and assess current and fielded EW system and community data requirements.
- Research, identify, and validate authoritative information sources that support documented training systems and operational-community requirements.
- Provide subject matter expertise in Technical SIGINT data analysis, including Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming and the Combined Emitter Database.
- Analyze national intelligence products from organizations such as ONI, NASIC, NGIC, MSIC, NGA, DIA, and NSA in support of Electronic Warfare systems and mission requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Technical Electronic Intelligence (TECHELINT) data analysis.
- Experience working with authoritative national Technical Electronic Intelligence (TECHELINT) data sources, including Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming (EWIR) and the Combined Emitter Database (CED).
- Experience supporting Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, including radar threat parameter analysis, threat and friendly Order of Battle (OOB) analysis, and Specific Emitter Identification (SEI).
- Experience using authoritative national intelligence products and data sources, including ONI, NASIC, NGIC, MSIC, NGA, DIA, and NSA.
- Proficiency using data query, analysis, and visualization tools, including CA ERwin Data Modeling Software, Microsoft Excel, and Oracle SQL Developer.
- Knowledge of data rationalization and standardization methodologies used to document, validate, and cross-correlate Electronic Warfare system data requirements.
- Ability to interpret and apply highly technical documentation, including Database Description Documents (DBDDs) and System Requirements Specifications (SRS).
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical documentation, briefing materials, charts, graphs, and presentations, and to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
Working Environment:
The primary place of performance is Norfolk, VA. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. Personnel are expected to work an eight-hour day.
Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is estimated to be less than 5% per year.
