Forklift Operator

We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our growing team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in your work, and have experience operating forklifts, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll help ensure materials are loaded, unloaded, organized, and shipped accurately while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace. Your work plays a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly and delivering excellent service to our customers.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate forklifts and other assigned equipment.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and re-palletize materials efficiently.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns.
• Organize materials for shipment in an orderly and accurate manner.
• Load and unload a variety of trucks while ensuring product accuracy.
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Customer Service Representatives, and Sales teams to verify every order is correct before shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company, federal, state, and local safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

What We're Looking For

• Previous forklift operating experience is required.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to read and understand loading tickets, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime or extended hours when business needs require.

Work Environment

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and dust. Team members must be comfortable operating forklifts and other warehouse or heavy equipment while following all YBP safety policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

To perform this job successfully, candidates should be able to:

• Frequently climb on and off forklifts and equipment.
• Walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, and move throughout the workday.
• Lift and carry up to 90 pounds.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
