What you will do:

The Lead Patient Account Counselor is a key position within our financial services department, responsible for leading a team of patient account counselors to ensure accurate and efficient management of patient accounts. This role requires a detail-oriented and experienced professional with a deep understanding of healthcare billing processes, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, or a related field
  • Previous experience in patient account management or a similar role
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing processes, insurance claims, and financial counseling 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with healthcare billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
