Production Control Coordinator

Purpose: Manages manufacturing holds process, ensures accurate order documentation, and coordinates with internal teams
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the order lifecycle from purchase order (PO) placement through production release and shipment, ensuring accurate records in the ERP system (Sage).
- Own the manufacturing holds process, including: daily status reporting, maintaining accurate records in Sage and on the internal holds board, and communicating status changes and potential shipping delays to internal teams and customers
- Manage the contract review process from initiation through completion, including: ensuring order information and documentation is accurate, securing required approvals ahead of ship dates, and serving as point of contact for contract review questions
- Serve as primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding order status, schedule changes, and delivery commitments
- Maintain customer prints and specification sheets by ensuring information is accurate and documented appropriately.
- Coordinate with department leads to assess feasibility of expedited or delayed ship date requests and communicate resulting commitments to internal and external customers
- Support cross-functional communication between sales, operations, quality, and customer throughout the production process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Credentials and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Sage X3 or similar ERP preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- At least two years of related experience and familiarity with manufacturing
