Description

Oneida Professional Services (OPS) is actively seeking a highly motivated, full-time Instructional Manager in Montgomery, AL (Maxwell AFB).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary instructional lead supporting the U.S. Air Force Air University (AU) Air Force Global College (AFGC) Instructional Management and Learning Support program. 
  • Provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership for instructional support operations. 
  • Act as the focal point for recruiting, onboarding, credentialing, training, assessing, and managing instructors and facilitators supporting online, hybrid, and master's degree programs. 
  • Verify faculty credentials and maintain qualification records in support of accreditation and compliance requirements. 
  • Coordinate instructor scheduling and ensure faculty readiness for demand-driven educational programs across multiple curriculum areas. 
  • Conduct faculty observations, assessments, and performance evaluations for online and in-person instructional personnel. 
  • Manage continuing education, faculty development, and refresher training activities for instructional staff. 
  • Participate in scheduling, operational, and administrative meetings with Government stakeholders and university leadership. 
  • Develop management reports, performance metrics, dashboards, and recommendations to support government decision-making. 
  • Ensure instructional quality, compliance with academic standards, and successful delivery of online and hybrid learning programs. 
  • Travel as required in support of program execution and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Adult Learning, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing instructional programs, faculty, trainers, or educational professionals.
  • Experience performing instructional quality assurance, faculty assessments, and performance evaluations.
  • Experience coordinating staffing and instructional resources across multiple projects or curriculum areas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience delivering reports and presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required federal security and installation access credentials.
  • Must be a full-time employee of the prime contractor and readily accessible to the Government. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Education, Organizational Leadership, Instructional Systems, Military Studies, or related field.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Air Force, Professional Military Education (PME), higher education, or distance learning programs.
  • Experience managing large instructor or faculty populations supporting distributed learning environments.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards, credential management, learning management systems (LMS), and online learning delivery models.
  • Experience supporting military officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian learners.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop credentialed instructional personnel.
