POSITION SUMMARY


The Supply Chain & Operations Planning Coordinator oversees procurement, inventory planning, supplier management, and supply chain reporting to ensure reliable and cost-effective medical device operations. The role supports demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and continuous process improvement while serving as a key link between suppliers, production, and management to support the Company's continued growth.


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Finance, Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory planning, production planning, operations analysis, or a related discipline.


Preferred Qualifications:


• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably medical devices
• Familiarity with FDA and ISO quality system requirements
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and operational metrics
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments and organizational levels


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and maintain demand, inventory, and material planning processes to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory and supporting efficient operational execution.
  2. Manage procurement activities including supplier selection, purchasing, order management, and supplier communications to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply of materials and services.
  3. Monitor and optimize inventory performance by analyzing usage trends, lead times, inventory levels, and replenishment requirements, while supporting inventory accuracy and working capital objectives.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and logistics partners, monitoring performance related to quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost, and driving continuous improvement initiatives where appropriate.
  5. Support operational planning and decision-making through analysis of demand forecasts, production requirements, supply constraints, and potential business risks, providing recommendations and scenario evaluations to management.
  6. Serve as a key resource for ERP and supply chain systems, ensuring data integrity, process consistency, and effective reporting capabilities across purchasing, inventory, and planning functions.
  7. Develop, analyze, and communicate key operational and supply chain metrics, including inventory performance, forecast accuracy, supplier performance, purchasing trends, backlog status, and other indicators supporting business objectives.
  8. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning accuracy, operational efficiency, inventory visibility, cross-functional coordination, and overall supply chain performance.
  9. Ensure compliance with applicable quality system requirements, company procedures, and regulatory standards, and perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Salary Description
$48,000 - $62,000
