Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead and elevate our maintenance operations with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency. This role will oversee multi-shift maintenance teams and take a hands-on approach to resolving complex mechanical and electrical challenges. The ideal candidate will bring a solutions-oriented mindset and a customer-focused attitude that positively influences both internal operations and external support. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Champion a safety-first      culture that not only meets but exceeds OSHA and industry standards.
  2. Ensure full compliance with      all local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
  3. Lead the development and      execution of comprehensive Preventative and Predictive Maintenance      programs.
  4. Evaluate and monitor      equipment performance, identifying opportunities to improve reliability,      uptime, and efficiency.
  5. Plan, manage, and implement      capital improvement projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective      execution.
  6. Develop, manage, and control      annual budgets for capital expenditures and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and      Operations) materials.
  7. Direct and support a      multi-shift maintenance team, providing hands-on leadership and mentorship      to maximize performance and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  1. Associate’s or technical      degree in mechanical or electrical systems.
  2. Minimum 10 years supervisory      experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
  3. Proficiency in mechanical      systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication systems, electrical and PLC      controls, and overhead crane operation.
  4. Strong diagnostic,      administrative, and communication skills.
  5. Proven track record of      effective team leadership and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in      mechanical or electrical engineering.
  2. Experience reading schematics      and technical documentation.
  3. Skilled in preparing reports      and presenting to internal or external audiences.
  4. Ability to coach and mentor      teams, delegate tasks, and manage multiple projects.
  5. Proficient with Microsoft      Office Suite and general computer literacy.
  6. Strong math and analytical      abilities.
