Maintenance Technician - Senior Living Community

Position is fulltime, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm and one weekend a month. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, ensuring timely resolution
- Conduct repairs and troubleshooting of appliances, fixtures, and structural elements
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of supplies
- Assist with safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Support the setup and breakdown of community events and activities as needed
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general repair techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
