Description
Summary:
The primary function of this position is to support the transfer case assembly process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receives direction from team leads on priority units
- Rebuilding planetaries
- Processing oil pumps
- Cleaning magnets
- Learn and perform teardown, inspection, assembly, and final test of transfer case shift motors
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, properly disposing of worn parts
- Other tasks as directed, including cross-training in other areas of the shop
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Basic automotive or mechanical skills
- Familiarity and/or use of power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to cross-train in other areas of the shop
