You help in execution to fully support and manage the team’s workload.


EMBODY RUTHLESS PRIORITIZATION ? You balance urgent operational issues, new client onboarding or feature development, and long-term technical debt reduction without dropping the ball.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

Within the first 30-60 days:

- Brings knowledge of industry and gains deep technical visibility during your first 30 days by conducting a full audit to map our tech stack, end-to-end value streams, and system dependencies.

- Builds trust and accountability from day one through clear, efficient communication across Slack and meeting channels—consistently offering support, providing progress updates, and managing deadline expectations.

- Drives long-term product alignment and strategic execution by actively contributing to weekly Product L10 meetings and dedicated Rock Out sessions.


3 months and ongoing:

- Develops a plan, working closely with leadership and your team, to grow your team (professionally and in number) with the goal of minimizing any direct dependencies on you for daily/urgent task resolution.

- Maintains steady-state platform health and system reliability through continuous monitoring, proactive issue resolution, and disciplined adherence to QuickCalm best practices.

- Shows ability to be a dependable escalation anchor for urgent technical issues, upholding defined SLAs for support resolution and system metric stability.


6 months and ongoing:

- Builds strong operational trust with direct reports through consistent weekly 1:1s—coaching them on hitting individual KPIs, celebrating achievements, and resolving personal performance or workflow bottlenecks.

- Drives long-term platform resilience and scalability by systematically executing the remediation plan for top-tier technical debt items identified during initial audits.


9-12 months and ongoing:

- Drives a high-performance culture of ownership and psychological safety, empowering team members to take full accountability for their Rocks and deliverables while minimizing single points of failure across critical systems.

- Champions engineering efficiency and visibility by tracking ticket volumes and measuring time spent across bugs, new features, and technical debt. In parallel, partner with Operations to convert manual workflows into automated solutions.

- Demonstrates technology onboarding and integration capacity of at least 2-5 integrations /onboardings per week.

Requirements

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

 - 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in software engineering, integrations, and technical operations

 - 2+ years of technical leadership experience

 - 2+ years of hand-on experience with 3rd-party integrations and complex distributed systems

 - Warehousing, logistics and/or e-commerce platforms and domain experience

 - Project management and agile methodologies experience

 - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to explain complex technical systems in non-technical terms

 - High emotional intelligence and proven track record of delivering results under pressure

 - Strong programming proficiency, especially TypeScript and NodeJS

 - Strong data analytics experience, especially SQL

 - Experience working with supply chain technologies (OMS, WMS, TMS)
