Responsible for supervision of coating process to meet company and customer expectations. Involves managing workforce to meet or exceed production demands within expected timeframes. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Employee has the responsibility and authority to control quality.
Responsibilities and Authority:
1 Operation of fork truck
2 Wear necessary personal protective equipment
3 Add chemicals as necessary based upon Titration readings/record
4 Communication between other production departments
5 Perform QC checks/log
6 Sets line speed and oven temperatures per job requirements
7 Instructs material handlers
8 Produce daily reports
9 Inspection
10 Packing
11 Inventories
12 Rework process
13 Washer Titration readings/record
14 Follow Winona Quality policy and procedures
15 Maintains acceptable housekeeping in areas of responsibility
16 Wear necessary personal protective equipment
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the principal duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
Must be able to operate measuring devices (i.e. tape measure)
Education / Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend repeatedly during the entire production shift. Additional physical demands include: reaching and occasionally being able to lift up to 60 pounds.
