Job Summary:

The school-Age Supervisor plans and implements an educational program that inspires students to learn and 

grow, develop strong character skills, make healthy choices, allows for creative expression, is inclusive and 

provides homework/tutoring support. The school-age Supervisor provides safe transportation to students 

during camps and school sessions and operates as an AM Preschool Instructional Assistant during on-track 

sessions. Follows all requirements of Community Cares Licensing; along with our Local, State and Federal 

contracts.

Summary of essential job functions School-Age Supervisor:

  •  Set-up and maintain engaging classroom environments following the SACERS tool
  •  Create and implement weekly, data-driven Lesson Plans that follow our CP template
  •  Complete a DRDP assessment on each student following the CP timeline for assessment
  •  Analyze DRDP data and use results to create individualized goals for each child
  •  Conduct two Parent/Teacher Conferences for each child annually
  •  Provide leadership, training, and coaching to all School-Age Staff 
  •  Communicate with Director to execute, implement and relay program requirements
  •  Provide homework and tutoring services
  •  Assist in planning of summer, spring and winter camps; and oversee all aspects of camp field trips 
  •  Follow the Caring Series to ensure children and the environment are safe and healthy
  •  Implement physical activities outdoors and promote a healthy lifestyle

Transportation:

  •  Transport children to/from school and to off-track field trips in a CP vehicle 
  •  Abide by current California State & Federal traffic laws & driving laws and regulations 
  •  Attend trainings, behind-the–wheel trainings, safe-driver classes, etc. as required to maintain the skills needed to safely transport students 
  •  Must have and maintain a clean driving record, both professionally and personally
  •  Demonstrate proficiency in driving skills
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • 12 ECE units +ability to attain Child Development Teacher's Permit or higher level permit
  • Clean driving record and comfortable driving a 9-seater bus.
  • Experience with tutoring, planning school age activities, summer camps, and special events.
  • Passionate in working with all ages 5-9.

Physical Requirements

  •  Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time
  •  Ability to lift up to 35 pounds to support children
  •  Ability to bend and squat to interact with children
  •  Ability to engage in physical activities with children, including extended walking on field trips


Salary Description
$25-$26 based on education credentials
