ASC DIRECTOR
Description

Job Summary: The ASC Director is responsible for supporting operational, departmental, and organizational objectives through role-specific responsibilities, collaboration, workflow management, communication, compliance, and service excellence aligned with the needs of the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Provides oversight, guidance, and workflow support to assigned staff and operations.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

  •  Perform responsibilities specific to the ASC Director position.
  •  Collaborate with leadership, staff, providers, and operational departments.
  •  Maintain compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  •  Support workflow coordination, operational efficiency, and communication.
  •  Maintain documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping responsibilities.
  •  Assist with departmental projects, initiatives, and process improvements.
  •  Support positive service experiences and operational consistency.
  •  Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Analyze operational, financial, and performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Document business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and workflow consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Support system enhancements by participating in testing, validating data accuracy, and identifying issues.
  • Assist with forecasting, financial modeling, and related performance analysis.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives involving the design, redesign, or implementation of new or updated processes.
  • Support the implementation of new workflows related to application development, process rollouts, or operational changes.
  • Maintain a working understanding of business functions and process flows to effectively support improvement efforts.
  • Provide support during workshops by preparing materials, guiding discussions, capturing outcomes, and preparing follow-up documentation for leadership.
  • Gather and organize materials, documentation, and data required to support project objectives and process evaluations.
  • Capture meeting inputs, decisions, action items, issues, and questions to support follow-up and project tracking.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, scheduling, and materials when needed to ensure successful collaboration.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
  • A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.

Education and Experience:

  •  Relevant experience preferred depending on role requirements.
  •  Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred when applicable.
  •  Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area, managing creation and implementation of a service area component, trouble-shooting. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating office equipment (e.g., computers, phones, fax machines).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Visual acuity is required to perform tasks involving computer screens and paper documents.
  • Ability to move around the office to access files, office machinery, and other equipment.
