Eckroth Music, an employee-owned company, serving the music industry since 1972, is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Professional/School Service Representative in our Fargo ND location. The primary function of the Retail Sales Professional/School Service Representative is to provide outstanding customer service by developing and maintaining director relationships.

Position Summary

• Actively lead recruiting, rental, and retention programs in your school accounts
• Work cooperatively with Band Directors and sales team.
• Assist customers with their specific requests and needs.
• Shipping and receiving products.
• Processing orders and rentals
• Packing and prepping for school events such as rental displays
• Play testing beginner band and orchestra students.

The ideal candidate will have the following professional skills and characteristics :

• An interest in music that is focused on band and/or orchestral instruments
• Strong Leadership, interpersonal, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Previous sales and sales management
• An ability to lift and unload products (50+ lbs)
• Strong customer service skills
• A collaborative team member who is energetic and enthusiastic
• An attention to detail
