InflexionPoint is currently looking for a Technical Project Manager. The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will lead and deliver complex, cross-functional system integration and engineering projects. This role combines program management rigor with technical engagement, enabling effective collaboration across engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders. The TPM will drive high-quality, efficient, secure, and maintainable solutions with a focus on operational excellence, innovation, and strategic impact.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from inception to completion across multiple engineering teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality, efficient, secure, testable, documented and maintainable solutions with minimal defects.
  • Own project status communication by consistently delivering clear and concise summaries to client stakeholders, leadership and management teams, effectively answering detailed questions about project progress and outcomes.
  • Proactively assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, navigate tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints.
  • Transform raw thoughts and complex technical concepts into clear, consistent, and accurate technical documentation and direction.
  • Improve team processes, metrics, and operational efficiencies to unblock delivery, accelerate innovation, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
  • Partner with engineering and business managers to secure resources, scope engineering efforts, set project priorities and milestones, and drive delivery to meet program goals and deadlines.
  • Develop and monitor project plans, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and resource requirements; escalate major risks or issues as needed.
  • Independently resolve complex project issues, ensuring project objectives are met within agreed scope, schedule, and quality parameters.
  • Facilitate effective meetings and communications among project stakeholders, driving consensus and action.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in program management methodologies and tools.
Requirements

 Education, Certifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience.
  • 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, as well as risk and critical path management experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
  • Experience in technical program management, working directly with software engineering teams.
  • Formal training or certification in project/program management (e.g. PMP, Scrum, Agile).
  • Proven ability to drive organizational change and process improvements.
  • Experience with data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.

Working Environment 

Duties are performed in an office environment but may also require travel to customer sites/locations. Must be willing to travel approximately 30%; must be willing to work in a variety of manufacturing facilities. Minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues. 


Physical Demands 

Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged hours consistent with the average workday; to operate a computer and other office equipment, including but not limited to computer, printer, etc.
