New Homes – Project Coordinator
Role Description:
The New Homes Solar Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting New Home communities from project award through project closeout. Working with multiple internal and external teams, and within multiple data management tools & platforms, to keep each individual project lifecycle on track, ensuring clean handoffs between depts, data accuracy & transparency, and operational excellence within the department.
Responsibilities:
•
Reviews and manages all project related documents, including customer work orders, change orders, budgets and solar designs.
•
Work with Homebuilder & Finance Partners on new Community/Project Startup
•
Initiate request for solar drawings, working with the Design Team to deliver accurate drawings to the Customer & Field team.
•
Coordinate permit requests & requirements with Permit Coordinator
•
Track code compliance within the Title 24 Design Parameters, work to resolve non-compliance issues with Builder/Energy Consultant.
•
Confirm required/selected solar system size with Builder, Finance Partners and internal production team members. Ensure system details are documented for design and invoicing accuracy.
•
Request Job Budget setup for each home with Project Finance team
•
Collaborate with Field personnel (internal & external) on scheduling and onsite deliverables.
•
Review Project Photos for compliance
•
Works closely with Finance Partners, to ensure that all required documents & milestones are completed in a timely manner
•
Track all projects through the completion of construction while communicating clearly and effectively on project status
•
Multiple daily entries in CRM, spreadsheets, calendars and all other internal tracking systems
•
Work with the Field crews to handle escalations or other issues that need administrative resolution.
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of construction related experience- solar PV required
• General construction knowledge ideal but not required
• Process management experience required
• Self-driven organizational skills, facilitating high volumes of emails & documents
• Detail oriented, attention and focus to ensure data accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative group environment
• Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
• Strong and adaptable working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Compensation and Benefits: Citadel Roofing and Solar offers a competitive compensation package.
